La serie Lale Kardes Signature è una simbiosi omogeneatra energia rock vintage e artigianato moderno. Ispirata dal Blues, Rock'n'Roll e Heavy Rock degli anni '60 e '70, questa linea di piatti è stata sviluppata in stretta collaborazione con Lale Kardes, la carismatica batterista dei The Ringo Jets.
Lale Kardeş ha studiato batteria jazz all'Università Bilgi di Istanbul ed è la prima batterista donna con una propria serie Signature presso Turkish Cymbals. Ha suonato tra gli altri con artisti come Anadol e İlhan Ersahin ed è conosciuta per il suo stile di esecuzione dinamico ed energico.
I piatti semi-sottili di questa serie producono un sustain lungo, sono voluminosi e incisivi, ma suonano bilanciati sia nei passaggi silenziosi che in quelli forti. In particolare il piatto Ride spicca con il suo diametro eccezionale – il Ride più grande nell'assortimento di Turkish Cymbals.

I had Kurak 15" hi-hat and during some heavy beating it would wash quite a bit, making overhead recording somewhat trickier. I did really like how it sounded though, especially when closed, so asked with an e-mail if something similar with less wash existed - and this hi-hat here is just that! It's very dry and attack-focused, almost like pot lids mashing together, and absolutely nice even during heavy pounding. Very satisfied with this purchase. :)
