Turkish Cymbals Stack – Dry, Explosive and Creative
The Turkish Cymbals Stack is one of the most innovative developments in the Turkish Cymbals range: a pre-configured combination of a Sirius Crash with brilliant finish and large holes and a Sehzade China with its characteristic hybrid finish – stacked on top of each other on a cymbal stand. The result is a sound unlike anything a conventional cymbal can produce: dry, explosive, short and aggressive – with a character that brings electronic sound worlds into the acoustic realm.
Three Sizes – One Sound Philosophy
The Stack is available in three size combinations: Stack 1 (16" + 18") – the most voluminous model with the widest spread. Stack 2 (14" + 16") – balanced between body and directness. Stack 3 (12" + 14") – the most compact model with the most direct, driest decay. All three share the same fundamental character – size determines volume and intensity.
Sound Character: Dry, Clappy and Explosive
Thanks to the holes in the Sirius Crash and the fast decay of the Sehzade China, a short, crisp sound emerges that simulates electronic handclapping. Tightened firmly, the Stack even produces an 1980s snare drum sound with metallic character – a sound option not achievable with conventional cymbals. Mounted loosely, the Stack opens slightly and develops more body and sustain. The drummer determines how dry or open the Stack sounds by adjusting the wing nut tension.
