Turkish Cymbals Bee Series

The Bee series by Turkish Cymbals consists of paper-thin effect cymbals whose edges get a slightly wavy shape from a creative lathing process. The result is a sound somewhere between crash, china and swish – with the hiss typical of the series. Every Bee cymbal is cast from B20 bronze in Istanbul and hammered by hand.

Characterful effect sound with instant response

Being paper-thin, Bee cymbals respond even to light strokes. The attack is sharp, the note short and controlled, with a slightly trashy character. Whether you play them with sticks or with your hands, they react with real sensitivity and give you sounds off the beaten track. Musical styles and cymbals in the series

Bee is a pure effect series – made for percussion, soundtrack, world music and fusion. It includes the Bee Splash with its high, short hiss, and the Bee Crash, which combines the sound of a crash, the bite of a china and the whoosh of a swish. With them, you can add new tonal colours to drum kits and percussion setups.
