Turkish Cymbals X-TR Classic Series

The X-TR Classic series by Turkish Cymbals stands for warmth and elegance. With a traditional finish and Medium weight, these versatile cymbals offer a warm, balanced sound – flexible enough for jazz and just as much at home in soul, funk and pop. Every X-TR Classic cymbal is cast from B20 bronze in Istanbul, hammered partly by hand and partly by machine, and then lathed. In the USA, the series goes by the name Meta Classic – they are the same cymbals.

Warm, balanced sound with an elegant response

These Medium cymbals respond with character and sensitivity: the hi-hat delivers a silky-soft chick and reacts elegantly, whether open or closed. The crash offers a fast attack with a round sustain – precise without covering up the mix. The ride speaks even when played lightly, articulates every stroke clearly and has a precise bell with warm, harmonic overtones.
