Refund policy

14-day right of withdrawal for Turkish Cymbals

As a consumer, you can withdraw from your order within 14 days of receipt without giving any reason. You will find the full withdrawal information and the model withdrawal form in our Terms and Conditions.

How returns work

  • Declare your withdrawal: Send us a short email to info@cymballand.de with your order number. A clear statement is sufficient; you can also use the model withdrawal form.
  • Pack it safely: Pack the cymbal so that it is well protected, ideally in its original packaging.
  • Send it back: Return the cymbal within 14 days of your withdrawal statement to: Cymballand, Bülent Ecevit Albayrak, Herbststraße 45, 13409 Berlin, Germany.

You bear the cost of the return shipment. We do not provide a return label.

A quick test, yes – a full session, no

A cymbal's surface is delicate – fingerprints and stick marks show up immediately. You're welcome to take your time inspecting your cymbal, just as you would in a music shop, and give it a quick test to hear how it sounds; ideally, hold it by the edge only. If a returned cymbal shows signs of playing that go beyond such a quick test (e.g. clear stick marks, scratches or other signs of use), we will charge compensation for diminished value in the amount of the resulting loss in value.

Refund

  • We will refund the purchase price, including the original standard shipping costs, without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving your withdrawal.
  • The refund is made using the same payment method you used for your order.
  • We may withhold the refund until the cymbal has arrived back with us or you have provided proof that you have sent it back.
  • Any compensation for diminished value will be offset against the refund.

Received a damaged or wrong cymbal?

Please check your cymbal immediately after receipt and contact us right away at info@cymballand.de or +49 177 4035975 if it is damaged or you have received the wrong cymbal. Your statutory warranty rights apply – in this case, we will of course cover the return shipping costs.

Exceptions

There is no right of withdrawal for custom-made and personalised cymbals that are produced to your individual specifications.

Exchanges

Would you prefer a different cymbal? Simply return your cymbal as described above and place a separate order for the cymbal you want. We are happy to advise you personally beforehand.
