The Prestige TR series by Turkish Cymbals was developed specifically for jazz drummers in search of a deep, dry and dark sound picture. The fully and densely hand-hammered cymbals have a matt-black, only lightly lathed, unlacquered surface that is not only visually unique but also contributes to a controlled, warm and nuanced sound. Every cymbal is hammered by hand in Istanbul from premium B20 bronze.

The Prestige TR cymbals offer a shortened sustain, a clear stick definition and a soft ping that unfolds superbly in acoustic and dynamic styles. Musical styles and cymbals in the series
Despite their jazz-oriented character, these cymbals are extremely versatile and excellently suited to jazz-fusion, soul, funk, R’n’B, latin and traditional jazz. The series includes a Crash with a dark attack and expressive character, a Hi-Hat with a dry, dark chick and strong presence, and a Ride with a dark stick sound and controlled wash. This lets you build a complete, dark-timbred setup from a single series.

Really dark, loud hihats, works good as secondary hats for blastbeats when set not too washy.
