Turkish Cymbals Ephesus Series

The Ephesus series by Turkish Cymbals is hand-hammered on the top and bottom and then re-forged extra-finely with special hammers to create a powerful, defined sound. Both surfaces are lathed, while the raw, unlathed bell retains the characteristic dents from the hammering. Every Ephesus cymbal is cast by hand in Istanbul from premium B20 bronze: a masterpiece of traditional craftsmanship, heavier and thicker than most other series.

Thanks to their greater weight and thickness, the Ephesus cymbals offer a fast response and a powerful, assertive sound with full projection. The raw bell delivers a dark, expressive bell character, while the extra-fine re-forging ensures precise articulation and a wide shimmer spectrum.
