Turkish Cymbals 11" Bell

The 11-inch bell is the largest bell cymbal in our range. The bigger diameter gives the bell-like ping more volume, depth and projection: the tone stays pure and focused, yet sounds fuller and slightly lower than the small bells – with long, penetrating sustain. Every bell at Cymballand is handcrafted in Istanbul from pure B20 bronze (80% copper, 20% tin).

In 11 inches we currently carry the Satellite Flat Bell from the Jarrod Cagwin Soundscape series: a flat-profile bell whose dry, earthy ping is especially suited to world music and percussion setups – the same model is also available in 9 and 10 inches. The 11-inch sets powerful, carrying accents: in percussion and world music setups, for striking patterns in fusion and progressive, or as a characterful effect color in the studio. Mounted on a stack or as an auxiliary cymbal, it holds its own even in dense arrangements.
