Turkish Cymbals Rock Beat Series

Built like the Classic series, with a mirror-gloss finish on top: that's the Rock Beat series from Turkish Cymbals. Its cymbals are made in Istanbul. Casting and hammering the B20 bronze are done by hand; the cymbals are then lathed and, as the last step, polished by hand. The polishing compresses the bronze – which is where the bright sound of the series comes from.

Bright, cutting sound

These cymbals sound bright and powerful, articulate clearly and stand their ground even against a loud band. Five of the seven models are Medium-Thin. The Crash Thin is thinner (Thin), the Ride Rock heavier (Heavy): its thick material gives it more ping and a stronger bell.

Musical styles and cymbals in the series

Rock is at the centre, joined by progressive rock, blues and contemporary styles. You can choose from seven models: the Rock Beat Ride with its bright stick sound and open wash, the Rock Beat Ride Rock with its strong ping and powerful bell, the Rock Beat Hi-Hat with its crystal-clear chick, the Rock Beat Crash with its long sustain, the Rock Beat Crash Thin with its easy response, the Rock Beat China with its aggressive trash and the Rock Beat Splash with its bell-like tone.
