The Ad Astra series is the result of a creative development of Özgür Can Öney's extensive studio and live experience. With over 20 years of worldwide concert experience, this series focuses on large, dark, and dynamic cymbals with controlled and structured expression . Inspired by the Latin phrase "Ad Astra per Aspera" ( Through hardship to the stars ), this series represents the path to exceptional sound and expression.

Ad Astra cymbals are developed in close collaboration with Turkish Cymbals ' master cymbalsmiths and signature artists. Their design is reminiscent of an Ottoman shield and radiates vitality.

• Dark color and texture: The intensive forging process in the kiln fire gives the cymbals their dark color and elegant texture , which creates a uniquely balanced sound .
