Turkish Cymbals X-TR Brilliant Set – Complete setup
The X-TR Brilliant Set by Turkish Cymbals is a complete cymbal set from a single series: 14" hi-hat, 16" crash, 18" crash and 20" ride, plus a soft case. The X-TR Brilliant series combines the craftsmanship of Turkish Cymbals in Istanbul with modern production. Thanks to their mirror finish, the cymbals sound clear and bright, and the Medium-Heavy weight gives them a powerful, full sound with controlled sustain. In terms of price, X-TR is one of the most affordable B20 series from Turkish Cymbals – worth a look for beginners and pros alike. In the USA, the series is known as Meta Brilliant: these are the same cymbals from Istanbul.
Set contents: 14" hi-hat, 16" and 18" crash, 20" ride and soft case
All the cymbals in the set share the X-TR Brilliant sound: clear, bright and powerful. The 14" hi-hat delivers a crisp, clean chick, the 20" ride a clear ping with a focused bell. The two crash sizes complement each other: the 16" crash is more direct and responds faster, while the 18" crash sounds fuller. The soft case keeps the cymbals protected on the way to rehearsals and gigs.
Applications: rock, pop rock and pop
The X-TR Brilliant Set is aimed at drummers from beginner to pro who want a matched setup that’s good value for money – whether you’re buying your very first cymbal set or gigging regularly. In a rock band’s rehearsal room, the bright cymbals hold their own against loud guitars, and for pop rock or pop they give you a clear, uncluttered sound. All the models are also available individually – the 20" X-TR Brilliant Ride, for example.
Craftsmanship from Istanbul – At the Best Price
Every X-TR Brilliant cymbal is made in the workshops of Turkish Cymbals in Istanbul from B20 bronze – 80% copper, 20% tin. The bronze is cast, hammered partly by hand and partly by machine, and then lathed. This combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern production ensures consistent sound quality across all sizes and models. At Cymballand, as the official partner of Turkish Cymbals, we bring the X-TR series straight to you – no middlemen.

Not only the cymbals are excellent but Bülent also gives the best advice and service!
Vielen Dank 🤗
Good dark, complex crash
Really dark, loud hihats, works good as secondary hats for blastbeats when set not too washy.
