Turkish Cymbals Stacks

Cymbal stacks are the most creative effect tools behind the drum kit: two cymbals layered on top of each other merge into a dry, trashy, explosive sound with an ultra-short decay – percussive like a sample, yet 100% handmade. At Cymballand, every cymbal is hand-hammered and hand-lathed in Istanbul from pure B20 bronze (80% copper, 20% tin), so every stack carries its own sonic signature.

The stack from the Stack Serie comes in three size combinations – 12"+14", 14"+16" and 16"+18" – ranging from a fast, biting accent to a fat, trashy statement. What is a cymbal stack used for

A stack speaks instantly and dies away just as fast: ideal for short stops in metal and punk, snappy accents in funk and fusion, and for hip-hop and electronically influenced productions that call for a "sampled" sound. As a hi-hat alternative or crash substitute in the studio, a stack opens up entirely new textures.
