Turkish Cymbals X-TR Brilliant Series

The X-TR Brilliant series by Turkish Cymbals combines Istanbul craftsmanship with modern production. With a mirror finish and Medium-Heavy weight, the cymbals sound clear, bright and powerful, with a precise attack and plenty of projection. Every X-TR Brilliant cymbal is cast from B20 bronze in Istanbul, hammered partly by hand and partly by machine, and then lathed. In the USA, the series is known as Meta Brilliant – they are the same cymbals.

Explosive attack and cutting precision

These Medium-Heavy cymbals cut through effortlessly, even at high volumes. The hi-hat delivers a solid, cutting chick, the crash an explosive attack with a controlled decay. The ride offers a powerful bell, clear articulation and a big wash. If you’re after similarly bright cymbals with real projection, check out the Rock Beat series too. The X-TR Classic series sounds warmer, and the X-TR Dark series darker and fuller.
