Turkish Cymbals X-TR Brilliant Crash – Bright, explosive attack
The X-TR Brilliant Crash by Turkish Cymbals is a crash cymbal in 16" and 18" with a bright, explosive attack. The X-TR Brilliant series combines the craftsmanship of Turkish Cymbals in Istanbul with modern production. Thanks to their mirror finish, the cymbals sound clear and bright, and the Medium-Heavy weight gives them a powerful, full sound with controlled sustain. In terms of price, X-TR is one of the most affordable B20 series from Turkish Cymbals – worth a look for beginners and pros alike. In the USA, the series is known as Meta Brilliant: these are the same cymbals from Istanbul.
Sound character: explosive, bright and powerful
Hit it, and the X-TR Brilliant Crash opens up instantly: the attack is bright and explosive, and then the cymbal rings out with power and control. Its bright fundamental cuts through with ease, even in dense arrangements. The 16" model is more direct and responds faster – good for short accents. The 18" model brings more body and volume for louder bands and bigger stages.
Applications: rock, pop rock and pop
The X-TR Brilliant Crash is made for drummers looking for a bright, present crash sound. In the rehearsal room with a rock band, it lays down powerful accents that don’t get buried, even under two distorted guitars. If you play pop rock or pop, it marks choruses and transitions with clarity and definition, and in studio sessions its decay stays controlled and easy to mix. Paired with the 14" X-TR Brilliant Hi-Hat, it gives you a setup with a consistently bright, clear sound.
Craftsmanship from Istanbul – At the Best Price
Every X-TR Brilliant cymbal is made in the workshops of Turkish Cymbals in Istanbul from B20 bronze – 80% copper, 20% tin. The bronze is cast, hammered partly by hand and partly by machine, and then lathed. This combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern production ensures consistent sound quality across all sizes and models. At Cymballand, as the official partner of Turkish Cymbals, we bring the X-TR series straight to you – no middlemen.

Wie schon zuvor gute Qualität kurzes Splash Becken so eins habe ich schon länger gesucht.
Not only the cymbals are excellent but Bülent also gives the best advice and service!
Vielen Dank 🤗
Good dark, complex crash
Really dark, loud hihats, works good as secondary hats for blastbeats when set not too washy.
Great Cymbal.
