The art of cymbal making has a history of almost 400 years in Istanbul .
Turkish Cymbals was founded in 1996 by Mehmet Tamdeğer – one of the last cymbalsmiths to still work with the Zildjian family.
To this day, the Istanbul factory produces cymbals that:
- Cast from high-quality B20 bronze
- Completely hand-hammered, turned & polished
- Individually checked and numbered
