The Lale Kardes Signature Series by Turkish Cymbals is the work of one of the most fascinating personalities in the Turkish rock scene: Lale Kardeş – drummer of the bluesy garage-rock trio Ringo Jets – spent over a year collaborating with Turkish Cymbals to develop a series that embodies her very own sound. Inspired by the Blues and Heavy Rock tones of the 1960s and 70s, the result is a set of cymbals unmatched in size and character: large, loud, open and with a long, full shimmer. Every cymbal bears the Hançer logo – a dagger symbol that Kardeş drew herself. The series was featured in the renowned Modern Drummer Magazine in June 2018.

The Lale Kardes Signature Crash in 18" and 20" is a crash cymbal of imposing presence. The sound is large, brilliant and warm – with a loose, washy sustain that rings long and fills the room. The attack is powerful and direct, the decay long and musical. Thanks to the Semi-Thin construction it responds sensitively to different playing intensities: from gentle, delicate accents to massive, loud crash moments that dominate the entire setup. The 18" model is somewhat drier and faster, while the 20" model delivers maximum volume and a long, expansive decay.
