The Sehzade series by Turkish Cymbals – Turkish for “Crown Prince” – is one of the most versatile series in the entire Turkish Cymbals range. Its unique feature is the three-zone surface structure: the outer edge is lathed and bright, a characteristic wide unlathed middle ring gives the sound dark depth and earthy character, and the unlathed bell delivers a dry, clear bell tone. The underside is lathed. This combination creates a cymbal that develops different tonal properties depending on playing position: brighter, energetic response at the outer edge – drier, defined response in the unlathed middle zone. The result is an instrument of extraordinary musicality and versatility.

The Sehzade Set 2 is the extended version of the Sehzade Set with an additional 18” Crash. With 14” Hi-Hat, 16” Crash, 18” Crash and 20” Ride – plus a Turkish Cymbals Soft Case – it offers a complete, two-tier crash setup. The 16” crash is more direct and drier, the 18” crash more voluminous with longer sustain – together they cover the full crash spectrum. All cymbals share the characteristic Sehzade sound: warm, dark, organic, with the unique three-zone surface.
