The Lale Kardes Signature Series by Turkish Cymbals is the work of one of the most fascinating personalities in the Turkish rock scene: Lale Kardeş – drummer of the bluesy garage-rock trio Ringo Jets – spent over a year collaborating with Turkish Cymbals to develop a series that embodies her very own sound. Inspired by the Blues and Heavy Rock tones of the 1960s and 70s, the result is a set of cymbals unmatched in size and character: large, loud, open and with a long, full shimmer. Every cymbal bears the Hançer logo – a dagger symbol that Kardeş drew herself. The series was featured in the renowned Modern Drummer Magazine in June 2018.

The Lale Kardes Signature Hi-Hat in 15" sets its own standard in size, volume and sonic character. The chick sound is loud, dark and loose – no precise, sharp sizzle, but a broad, open sonic moment with dark character that perfectly suits the vintage rock identity of the series. Played closed the hi-hat delivers a powerful, dark stick sound with pronounced dynamics. Played open a broad, voluminous wash unfolds that develops the character of a small crash cymbal. The 15" size gives the hi-hat more depth and volume than a standard 14" model.
