The Studio series by Turkish Cymbals is an exceptional series with a three-part surface structure that equally defines sound and appearance: bell and edge are polished raw – unlathed, without visible hammer strikes – and give the cymbal a warm, organic fundamental character. The middle bow area is fully lathed and brilliantly polished – it provides clarity, projection and brightness. The underside is fully lathed and brilliant. The result: a clean, powerful sound that moves effortlessly between Rock, Pop, Funk, Contemporary, R’n’B and Jazz – both in the studio and on stage.

The Studio Crash in 14”, 16”, 17” and 18” delivers a clear, powerful sound. The attack is direct and expressive – the brilliant bow surface provides brightness and projection. The decay is balanced and musical, with a warm organic fundamental from bell and edge in polished raw finish. The 14” model is more direct and drier, the 18” model more voluminous with longer sustain.
