Turkish Cymbals Jazz Ride – Warm Groove
The Jazz series by Turkish Cymbals is the answer to a timeless question: how does a cymbal sound that is completely in service of the music? Deeply hammered, with a characteristic surface full of pronounced hammer strikes and a traditional, non-brilliant finish, this series delivers a warm, dark and multi-layered sound that adapts like a chameleon to playing intensity and technique. A delicate brush stroke sounds different from a firm stick strike – and that is precisely what makes these cymbals so musical.
Sound Character: Warm, Dark and Balanced
The Jazz Ride in 20" and 21" is the centrepiece of the Jazz series. Its sound is warm and dark with a smooth, balanced wash – ideal for jazz in all its facets. The stick sound is clear and articulate, with a bright, lathed bell that delivers a clean bell tone for rhythmic accents. The wash is rich but controlled – sufficient for a full, musical sound without overloading the mix. Thanks to the deep hammer strikes of the Jazz series the ride responds to different playing techniques with remarkable nuance: a light brush stroke sounds different from a firm stick strike. The 20" model is somewhat faster to respond, the 21" model offers more volume and depth.
Applications: Traditional Jazz, Jazz-Fusion, Soul, R'n'B and Funk
The Jazz Ride is a cymbal for musicians who want to shape their groove with warmth and personality. In Traditional Jazz the warm, dark ride character delivers excellent articulation for ride patterns and bell accents. In Jazz-Fusion drummers appreciate the balance between clear stick definition and musical wash. In Soul and R'n'B the ride carries the groove with warm, organic character. In Funk the bright bell delivers powerful bell patterns with high recognition value.
Craftsmanship from Istanbul – At the Best Price
Every Jazz cymbal is crafted in the workshops of Turkish Cymbals in Istanbul following a tradition that reaches back centuries. The B20 bronze alloy – 80% copper, 20% tin – is hand-cast, heated and deeply and intensively hand-hammered by experienced master craftsmen. The pronounced hammer strikes are no accident – they are the artisan heart of this series and produce the characteristic warm, complex tone. We at Cymballand are proud, as the official partner of Turkish Cymbals, to bring this craftsmanship directly to you – without intermediaries, at the best price.

Let customers speak for us
Vielen Dank 🤗
Good dark, complex crash
Really dark, loud hihats, works good as secondary hats for blastbeats when set not too washy.
Great Cymbal.
