Turkish Cymbals Rock Beat Raw Big Bell – Small Cymbal, Big Bell
The Rock Beat Raw series by Turkish Cymbals is the brilliant version of the Kurak series – and as such a series with a unique character: the fully raw, unlathed surface carries – unlike the original Kurak series – a special polish that gives the large, unmistakable hammer strikes a brilliant shimmer. This process is comparable to the Kurak approach, with one decisive difference: the added gloss. Heavier than the Rock Beat series, with more cut and more volume – these cymbals deliver a powerful, assertive sound with the raw texture of unlathed B20 bronze.
Sound Character: Powerful Bell Sound in Compact Form
The Rock Beat Raw Big Bell in 7”, 8”, 9” and 10” is a compact effect cymbal with a disproportionately large bell for its size. The bell sound is clear, bright and cutting – with the characteristic brilliant-raw Rock Beat Raw character. As an effect cymbal for precise, striking bell accents or as an unconventional splash replacement, the Big Bell offers a unique tonal colour in the setup. Each size has its own character: the 7” is the most direct, the 10” more voluminous.
Applications: Metal, Grunge, Progressive Rock, Rock and Blues
The Rock Beat Raw Big Bell is a specialist for drummers wanting to add a powerful, distinctive bell voice to their setup. In Metal and Progressive Rock it delivers precise, bright bell accents. In Rock and Grunge it is unique as an unconventional effect instrument with the raw Rock Beat Raw aesthetic.
Craftsmanship from Istanbul – At the Best Price
Every Rock Beat Raw cymbal is crafted in the workshops of Turkish Cymbals in Istanbul from the secret B20 bronze alloy – 80% copper, 20% tin – hand-cast, heated and intensively hammered. After the hammer work, the raw, unlathed surface undergoes a special polishing process that visibly highlights the distinctive hammer strikes and gives the cymbal its characteristic brilliant-raw look. We at Cymballand are proud, as the official partner of Turkish Cymbals, to bring this series directly to you – without intermediaries, at the best price.

Let customers speak for us
Vielen Dank 🤗
Good dark, complex crash
Really dark, loud hihats, works good as secondary hats for blastbeats when set not too washy.
Great Cymbal.
