Turkish Cymbals Xanthos-Cast Flat Bell Sizzle – Small, Focused and Distinctive
The Xanthos-Cast series by Turkish Cymbals has an unmistakable surface structure: the bell is lathed and brightly polished – a powerful, focused bell tone with a clear ping. The remaining bow is fully unlathed, deeply hammered and dark polished – the deep hammer strikes produce a characteristically dark brilliance that is neither raw nor classically brilliant. The result is a dark, harmonic sound with a sharp, powerful punch: dark overtones with forceful highs and mids, controlled sustain and an organic depth that sounds unique in this combination.
A Unique Effect Cymbal with Sizzle Character
The Xanthos-Cast Flat Bell Sizzle in 8”, 9” and 10” is the most extraordinary model in the Xanthos-Cast series. The flat bell shape without a conventional bell dome produces a percussive, direct sound without a traditional bell tone – pure, focused sound with the characteristic dark Xanthos-Cast character. The sizzle rivets add a lively, atmospheric shimmer. As an effect cymbal, stack partner or unconventional splash, it offers a unique tonal colour in the setup.
Applications: Metal, Rock, Progressive Rock and Blues
The Xanthos-Cast Flat Bell Sizzle is a specialist for drummers seeking creative, distinctive effects. In Metal and Rock it sets explosive, dark accents with sizzle atmosphere. In Progressive Rock it is a versatile tool for experimental sounds. In Blues it creates organic, atmospheric sonic moments.
Craftsmanship from Istanbul – At the Best Price
Every Xanthos-Cast cymbal is crafted in the workshops of Turkish Cymbals in Istanbul from the secret B20 bronze alloy – 80% copper, 20% tin – hand-cast, heated and deeply hammered by experienced master craftsmen. The elaborate surface treatment – lathed, polished bell and dark polished, unlathed bow – demands craft precision and deep knowledge of materials. We at Cymballand are proud, as the official partner of Turkish Cymbals, to bring this series directly to you – without intermediaries, at the best price.

Let customers speak for us
Vielen Dank 🤗
Good dark, complex crash
Really dark, loud hihats, works good as secondary hats for blastbeats when set not too washy.
Great Cymbal.
