The Jazz Crash Thin in 17" and 18" is the lighter, faster version of the Jazz Crash. The Thin construction provides an even more sensitive response and a more direct, brighter sonic character than the Medium-Thin model. It responds to the lightest touches while delivering a complete, musical crash sound. The decay is somewhat shorter than the Medium-Thin model, making the Crash Thin ideal for drummers wanting to place fast, successive accents without sonic overlap. The deep hammer strikes of the Jazz series remain audible even in the Thin version – the sound is warm, dry and complex, just in a lighter, more responsive form.
