The Kurak series by Turkish Cymbals is one of the house's most original and characterful lines. These cymbals have a raw, unlathed surface on both sides that produces a dry, earthy sound with minimal overtones – direct, focused and full of personality. Every Kurak cymbal is cast and hammered by hand in Istanbul from premium B20 bronze: traditional craftsmanship in its most purist form.

Thanks to their powerful stick definition and clearly articulated attack, the Kurak cymbals are ideal for controlled playing that combines musical expression with sonic clarity. They respond instantly, with a short decay and natural sonic behaviour, and are especially popular with drummers who work with dynamics and texture.
