The completely flat shape and the complete hand hammering up to the rim – without a classic bell – give the cymbal an extremely dry, dark tone with minimal overtone resonance and a short decay .

It offers clear stick articulation , is controlled in volume and is ideal for playing techniques where precision and expression are paramount – be it in an acoustic context , in the studio or in quiet, sensitive live situations .
