Turkish Cymbals Soundscape Gamma Splash – Bright, sharp, short
The Gamma Splash owes its name to gamma-ray bursts: brief, extremely intense bursts of gamma radiation in outer space. Within the Soundscape series shaped by Jarrod Cagwin, this small splash cymbal in Thin is the only model with a brilliant polish.
Sound character: the brightest model in the series
The Gamma Splash sounds very bright and sharp. A quick attack is followed by only a short decay, and then the cymbal falls silent again. Next to the mostly raw models of the series, it stands apart in sound just as much as in looks.
Applications: jazz-fusion, percussion, soundtrack and world music
In soundtrack productions the Gamma Splash marks brief, bright moments. Jazz-fusion and world music get sharp peaks in the groove from it, and percussion rigs do too. With the Löss Splash the series has a second splash, one that sounds drier and hints at a small china.
Craftsmanship from Istanbul – At the Best Price
Every cymbal in the Soundscape series is made in the workshops of Turkish Cymbals in Istanbul, where handmade B20 bronze cymbals have been crafted for more than 25 years. The bronze – 80% copper, 20% tin – is cast by hand and heated in traditional furnaces. The Gamma Splash receives no hammer strokes; instead it goes to the lathe and is finished with a brilliant polish. At Cymballand, as the official partner of Turkish Cymbals, we bring this craft straight to you – no middlemen.

Not only the cymbals are excellent but Bülent also gives the best advice and service!
Vielen Dank 🤗
Good dark, complex crash
Really dark, loud hihats, works good as secondary hats for blastbeats when set not too washy.
