Turkish Cymbals Studio Splash – Fast, clear and expressive
The Studio Splash brings the Studio sound to the smallest format in the series. This thinly built splash cymbal has the same three-zone top as every Studio model.
Sound character: direct, bright and controlled
Its attack is direct and clear, and the decay stays short and controlled. The brilliant middle gives the Splash a bright, lively character, while the rim and bell, with their raw texture, add organic warmth. The 10" is more direct; the 12" offers a touch more body.
Applications: contemporary, funk, jazz, pop, R'n'B and rock
With the Studio Splash, you place short, punchy accents: in funk and R'n'B as quick hits in the groove, in rock, pop and jazz as fresh colours in your phrasing. When you want a broader sound, reach for the Studio Crash.
Craftsmanship from Istanbul – At the Best Price
Every cymbal in the Studio series is made in the workshops of Turkish Cymbals in Istanbul, where handmade B20 bronze cymbals have been crafted for more than 25 years. The bronze – 80% copper, 20% tin – is cast by hand, heated in traditional furnaces and hammered by experienced master craftsmen, stroke by stroke. After that, the area between the rim and the bell is lathed, as is the entire underside. The rim and the bell stay raw, but they are polished just like the rest of the surface; on the rim, you can clearly see the hammer marks. Before a cymbal leaves the workshops, it is tested individually by hand. Because casting and hammering are done by hand, each one sounds just a little different. Wieder mal ein Volltreffer! Die Hi Hat reagiert sehr schnell und lebendig und der Chick ist gut akzentuiert. Crashes mit tollem Glanz und sehr organischem Ausklang. Und das Ride ist für mich eine echte Überraschung, Sehr klarer Ping mit einem phantasichen Sustain und vor allem genug Körper. Auch gut für leichte Crashes. Das ganze Set bringt Glanz in der Mix, in diesem Falle Rockmusik, es agiert mit Sensibilität und hoher Dynamik. Bülent hat wieder einmal mit exzellentem Spürsinn das richtige Set empfohlen. Eine interessante Mischung aus Splash und Mini Flat Ride. Eine Bereicherung für mein Set Up.
Die Cymbals sind große Klasse, auch die Effekt -Cymbals und Bells verschiedener Serien harmonieren miteinander. Bülent nimmt sich jedesmal alle Zeit der Welt, wenn es darum geht, die passenden Cymbals zusammenzustellen. Super finde ich, dass man auf der Website schon mal probehören kann, sehr hilfreich bei der Vorauswahl. Preis und Leistung stimmen, immer wieder gerne!
Wahrscheinlich meine beste Erfahrung von Beckenkäufen überhaupt! Ich hab in meiner Laufbahn als Schlagzeuger schon einige Becken gekauft und leider auch immer wieder mal, aus mangelndem Wissen, daneben gegriffen. Ich wünschte ich wäre früher schon bei Cymballand gelandet. Bülent weiß wirklich was er verkauft und kann, sofern man ein bisschen weiß was man sucht, das richtige an die Hand geben.

Good dark, complex crash
Really dark, loud hihats, works good as secondary hats for blastbeats when set not too washy.
Sehr schönes Crash-Imitat bei mit Rods gespielten Unplugged-Gigs. Bei lauteren Musikstilen markantes, kurzes Splash, muß aber hier auch hart angespielt werden, um sich durchzusetzen.
Ich habe zum zweiten Mal Becken bestellt ohne sie vorher testen und ich bin auch dieses Mal wieder begeistert. Mein Vertrauen ist nicht enttäuscht worden. Sehr empfehlenswert!
Das Snake Ride hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen: es sieht nicht nur fantastisch aus, es klingt auch so! Der Sizzle Effekt ist perfekt dosiert. Das Spielgefühl ist äußerst angenehm. Es harmoniert entsprechend gut mit meinen Snake Hats. Ich bin total begeistert!
