The Travel series by Turkish Cymbals – developed in close collaboration with Jazz/Rock/Pop touring drummer Chris Wabich – is the answer to a very practical question: how do you travel with professional, handcrafted B20 cymbals without any problems at the airport? The Travel Flat Ride Sizzle in 16” is the most distinctive cymbal in the Travel series – and at the same time the only one with an entirely different sound philosophy: while the Hi-Hat and Crash have a traditional finish, the Flat Ride is fully raw and unlathed – similar to the Kurak series cymbals. Without a conventional bell it delivers an extremely dry, percussive ride sound. The two built-in sizzle rivets add a lively, atmospheric shimmer – a hint of shimmer over the dry fundamental character.
