Turkish Cymbals Classic China Reverse – Civilised Sharpness
The Classic series by Turkish Cymbals is the most versatile series in the brand – a professional standard with the sonic character of a classic vintage cymbal and the fresh tone of the present day. Hand-cast, hand-hammered and hand-lathed in Istanbul, it covers a wide tonal spectrum: from dark and full-bodied to bright and clear.
Sound Character: Fast, Musical and Controlled
The Classic China Reverse is an elegant reinterpretation of the classic china cymbal. The reversed bell fundamentally changes the sonic character: instead of the hard, aggressive china sound, an ideal blend of china and crash character emerges – fast response, short decay, but with more body and longer sustain than a conventional china. A customer from our community put it perfectly: "Nice and civilized cymbal, when standard China is too much." That is precisely the Classic China Reverse: controlled sharpness without compromise. Available in 14" and 17" – the 14" model is more direct and drier, the 17" model fuller and richer in sustain.
Applications: Jazz, Rock, Funk and Fusion
The Classic China Reverse is the cymbal for drummers who appreciate the character of a china but are looking for a more musical, accessible version. In Jazz it blends organically into the sonic mix without dominating. In Rock and Funk it delivers precise, defined accents with a touch of china exoticism. In a Fusion context it is a versatile effect instrument that can be used both as a china and as an alternative crash.
Craftsmanship from Istanbul – At the Best Price
Every Classic cymbal is crafted in the workshops of Turkish Cymbals in Istanbul following a tradition that reaches back centuries. The secret B20 bronze alloy – 80% copper, 20% tin – is hand-cast, heated and hammered thousands of times by experienced master craftsmen. Each cymbal bears the unmistakable signature of its maker. We at Cymballand are proud, as the official partner of Turkish Cymbals, to bring this craftsmanship directly to you – without intermediaries, at the best price.

Let customers speak for us
Vielen Dank 🤗
Good dark, complex crash
Really dark, loud hihats, works good as secondary hats for blastbeats when set not too washy.
Great Cymbal.
