Turkish Cymbals FX China – Explosive and trashy
The FX China by Turkish Cymbals is a china cymbal with a loud, explosive attack and a fast decay. Numerous small holes sit in the bow, while the upturned edge is left free of them. The holes shorten the ring-out and make the sound even trashier. The FX China is polished to a high gloss: the polish makes the bronze denser, raises the pitch, gives a bright, almost glassy sound and ensures a very fast response. Like the rest of the series, it has a Thin build.
Sound character: hard attack, short trash
The attack hits hard and loud, then the sound cuts off quickly and doesn’t get in the way of the groove. If you want, you can also stack the FX China: because it’s thin, it gives you a distinctive stack sound. The 16" sounds tighter and more direct, while the 18" has more body and volume.
Applications: rock, progressive, jungle, jazz-fusion and contemporary
The FX China adds a fast effect sound with plenty of volume to your setup. In rock and prog, it caps off a fill or doubles a unison hit with the band. Between the breakbeats of jungle, or in electronic and hybrid setups, its short trash works almost like a sample. In jazz-fusion, a single hit in the right place is often all it takes to bring an unexpected colour into a tune. Pair it with the FX Crash for an effect duo from the same series.
Craftsmanship from Istanbul – At the Best Price
Every FX cymbal is made in the workshops of Turkish Cymbals in Istanbul, where handmade B20 bronze cymbals have been crafted for more than 25 years. The bronze – 80% copper, 20% tin – is cast by hand, heated in traditional furnaces and hammered by experienced master craftsmen, stroke by stroke. After that, the cymbals are lathed; the holes are made by machine. The China and Crash are polished to a high gloss, while the Hi-Hat gets a Traditional finish. Because casting and hammering are done by hand, every FX cymbal sounds just a little different. Wieder mal ein Volltreffer! Die Hi Hat reagiert sehr schnell und lebendig und der Chick ist gut akzentuiert. Crashes mit tollem Glanz und sehr organischem Ausklang. Und das Ride ist für mich eine echte Überraschung, Sehr klarer Ping mit einem phantasichen Sustain und vor allem genug Körper. Auch gut für leichte Crashes. Eine interessante Mischung aus Splash und Mini Flat Ride. Eine Bereicherung für mein Set Up.
Die Cymbals sind große Klasse, auch die Effekt -Cymbals und Bells verschiedener Serien harmonieren miteinander. Bülent nimmt sich jedesmal alle Zeit der Welt, wenn es darum geht, die passenden Cymbals zusammenzustellen. Super finde ich, dass man auf der Website schon mal probehören kann, sehr hilfreich bei der Vorauswahl. Preis und Leistung stimmen, immer wieder gerne!
Wahrscheinlich meine beste Erfahrung von Beckenkäufen überhaupt! Ich hab in meiner Laufbahn als Schlagzeuger schon einige Becken gekauft und leider auch immer wieder mal, aus mangelndem Wissen, daneben gegriffen. Ich wünschte ich wäre früher schon bei Cymballand gelandet. Bülent weiß wirklich was er verkauft und kann, sofern man ein bisschen weiß was man sucht, das richtige an die Hand geben.

Good dark, complex crash
Really dark, loud hihats, works good as secondary hats for blastbeats when set not too washy.
Sehr schönes Crash-Imitat bei mit Rods gespielten Unplugged-Gigs. Bei lauteren Musikstilen markantes, kurzes Splash, muß aber hier auch hart angespielt werden, um sich durchzusetzen.
Ich habe zum zweiten Mal Becken bestellt ohne sie vorher testen und ich bin auch dieses Mal wieder begeistert. Mein Vertrauen ist nicht enttäuscht worden. Sehr empfehlenswert!
Das Snake Ride hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen: es sieht nicht nur fantastisch aus, es klingt auch so! Der Sizzle Effekt ist perfekt dosiert. Das Spielgefühl ist äußerst angenehm. Es harmoniert entsprechend gut mit meinen Snake Hats. Ich bin total begeistert!
