Turkish Cymbals Xanthos-Jazz Splash Reverse Sizzle – Complex, Atmospheric and Unique
The Xanthos-Jazz series from Turkish Cymbals features a unique three-part surface structure: The bell and edge are raw and unlathed – heavily hammered, with an organic, dark texture. The middle playing surface (bow) is traditionally lathed with a natural sheen – no high gloss, no lacquer, just the natural brilliance of the crafted bronze. The underside is fully lathed and polished, giving the cymbal enhanced projection and tonal brightness. The result is a warm, controlled sound with a rich tonal palette: quick response, musical overtones, and balanced stick definition – versatile, deeply characterful, and highly musical.
A Special Effect Cymbal with Reversed Bell and Sizzle
The Xanthos-Jazz Splash Reverse Sizzle in 8", 9", and 10" is the most experimental cymbal of the Xanthos-Jazz series. The reverse bell creates an unconventional, percussive sound character that stands completely apart from classic splash cymbals. The sizzle rivets add a lively, atmospheric shimmer – a continuous whisper above the percussive foundation. The three-part Xanthos-Jazz surface gives even this small cymbal profound organic warmth and sonic depth.
Applications: Blues, Latin, Pop-Rock, R'n'B, Soul, Funk, and Traditional Jazz
The Xanthos-Jazz Splash Reverse Sizzle is designed for creative drummers seeking to add a unique, atmospheric dimension to their setup. In Jazz and Blues, it creates truly special, atmospheric moments. In Funk and Soul, it delivers unconventional accents with a vibrant shimmer. In Latin and Pop-Rock, it serves seamlessly as a creative tool for experimental sounds.

Let customers speak for us
Vielen Dank 🤗
Good dark, complex crash
Really dark, loud hihats, works good as secondary hats for blastbeats when set not too washy.
Great Cymbal.
