Turkish Cymbals Cappadocia Ride – Earthy precision
The Cappadocia Ride by Turkish Cymbals is a 22" ride cymbal with a dry, clearly defined stick sound and a deep bell. The series is named after Cappadocia in Central Anatolia – a landscape of volcanic rock, ancient cave cities and thousands of years of history. The dark hammer pattern and coal-black patina of the Cappadocia cymbals come from deep hammering – and it is exactly this hammering that makes the sound darker, drier and more controlled.
Sound character: dry, articulate and full of character
Played on the bow, every stroke stays clearly separated, with a dry wash and little shimmer underneath. The low-pitched, pronounced bell delivers a full, rich tone that gives the groove structure without stealing the spotlight. One customer’s review praises “a clean ping and a dark wash at the same time”. The Cappadocia Ride is a cymbal with a clear personality: if you like earthy, dry rides, you’ll hear it from the very first stroke.
Applications: jazz, funk and grunge rock
The Cappadocia Ride is aimed at drummers who value depth over brilliance. In a jazz combo it reacts to every nuance, and its dry stick sound carries even the quiet passages. For funk grooves, you can play clear, rhythmic patterns on the bow without any excess wash. Under loud grunge rock guitars, it sounds earthy and dark rather than shrill. Brushes or powerful stick strokes, studio or stage: this ride stays clear and defined. Round it off with the 17" Cappadocia Crash, and you get a setup that carries the same earthy tonal colour from your ride pattern to your crash accents.
Craftsmanship from Istanbul – At the Best Price
Every Cappadocia cymbal is made in the workshops of Turkish Cymbals in Istanbul, where handmade B20 bronze cymbals have been crafted for more than 25 years. The bronze – 80% copper, 20% tin – is cast by hand, heated in traditional furnaces and hammered thousands of times by experienced master craftsmen. Because every cymbal is made by hand, no two Cappadocia cymbals have quite the same hammer pattern. At Cymballand, as the official partner of Turkish Cymbals, we bring this craft straight to you – no middlemen.

Wie schon zuvor gute Qualität kurzes Splash Becken so eins habe ich schon länger gesucht.
Not only the cymbals are excellent but Bülent also gives the best advice and service!
Vielen Dank 🤗
Good dark, complex crash
Really dark, loud hihats, works good as secondary hats for blastbeats when set not too washy.
Great Cymbal.
