Turkish Cymbals Classic China Thin – Explosive and exotic
The Classic China Thin by Turkish Cymbals is a thin china cymbal in 18" with an explosive attack and an exotic tonal colour. Turkish Cymbals calls Classic the most versatile series in its range and its professional standard line – and our experience confirms it: you can play practically any style of music with Classic cymbals. The series follows the tradition of dark, warm Istanbul cymbals: balanced weight, the typical dents left by hand hammering and a traditional finish. Its sound ranges from deep and earthy through full and broad to bright and clear.
Sound character: thin, explosive and exotic
Its thin build gives you an instant attack, a very fast decay and a distinctly exotic tonal colour. Despite its 18" size, the Classic China Thin stays agile: it has more body and depth than the smaller china models in the series, yet loses none of the speed of a Thin construction. Even with so little metal, the B20 bronze gives the cymbal complex overtones and a musical character.
Applications: rock, metal and fusion
The Classic China Thin is aimed at drummers looking for an aggressive, fast-responding china sound in a larger format. At loud rock and metal gigs, it delivers explosive, cutting accents that, thanks to the 18" size, project further than smaller china cymbals. In fusion setups and experimental arrangements, it becomes an effect cymbal with a voice of its own. For short, high accents in smaller sizes, there’s the Classic China in 8", 10" and 12".
Craftsmanship from Istanbul – At the Best Price
Every Classic cymbal is made in the workshops of Turkish Cymbals in Istanbul, where handmade B20 bronze cymbals have been crafted for more than 25 years. The bronze – 80% copper, 20% tin – is cast by hand, heated in traditional furnaces, hammered thousands of times by experienced master craftsmen and then lathed by hand. That’s why every Classic cymbal bears its own hammer marks, while the series character stays the same. At Cymballand, as the official partner of Turkish Cymbals, we bring this craft straight to you – no middlemen.

Wie schon zuvor gute Qualität kurzes Splash Becken so eins habe ich schon länger gesucht.
Not only the cymbals are excellent but Bülent also gives the best advice and service!
Vielen Dank 🤗
Good dark, complex crash
Really dark, loud hihats, works good as secondary hats for blastbeats when set not too washy.
Great Cymbal.
