Turkish Cymbals FX Silence Flat Ride – Dry and quiet
No bell – instead, a flat, dry ride sound: the FX Silence Flat Ride by Turkish Cymbals is a ride cymbal in a low-volume version. Numerous fine, machine-drilled holes take about half of the material away from this Thin cymbal, which is why it’s about 50% quieter than a normal flat ride.
Sound character: flat, dark and dry
Without a bell, the cymbal vibrates less. As a result, the sound gets flatter, darker and drier, and it dies away faster than on the FX Silence Ride. Each stroke stands on its own, and the wash stays brief.
Applications: practising and playing ride patterns quietly
With the FX Silence Flat Ride, you can work on ride figures on real B20 bronze without the wash filling the room. In drum lessons, too, you get to learn them on an actual cymbal. At home and in your home studio, it keeps the volume down; at quiet gigs, your ride pattern sounds dry and clearly defined. If you need the bell, go for the FX Silence Ride.
Craftsmanship from Istanbul – At the Best Price
Every FX Silence cymbal is made in the workshops of Turkish Cymbals in Istanbul, where handmade B20 bronze cymbals have been crafted for more than 25 years. Each cymbal is cast by hand from B20 bronze (80% copper, 20% tin), then lathed and given a Traditional finish; the fine holes are drilled by a machine. At Cymballand, as the official partner of Turkish Cymbals, we bring these cymbals straight to you – no middlemen.

Not only the cymbals are excellent but Bülent also gives the best advice and service!
Vielen Dank 🤗
Good dark, complex crash
Really dark, loud hihats, works good as secondary hats for blastbeats when set not too washy.
