Turkish Cymbals Lale Kardeş Signature Hi-Hat – Loud chick, large size
With Lale Kardeş, Turkish Cymbals gave a female drummer her own signature series for the first time. Within that series, the Lale Kardeş Signature Hi-Hat stands for the loud sound you know from hi-hat cymbals in classic hard rock. The pair is Medium-Thin with a Traditional finish; the bottom is a little heavier than the top.
Sound character: loose chick, powerful stick sound
Loud and loose – that’s the chick. On the closed hi-hat, the stick sound has real punch; it sounds full and has a touch of sizzle. Open it up and you get a broad wash, almost like a small crash. Because the Hi-Hat measures 15", when closed, it doesn’t sound as compact and short as smaller models. Overall, its sound is deeper and more voluminous than that of a typical 14" hi-hat.
Applications: rock'n'roll, blues, heavy rock and psychedelic rock
In rock'n'roll, the Hi-Hat pushes eighth notes and shuffles forward, and in slow blues numbers the loose chick holds the groove together. In heavy rock, you open it a crack and let the wash roll on beneath the riffs; in psychedelic rock, you back long instrumental stretches with an open hi-hat. Every cymbal in the Lale Kardeş Signature series is made in the workshops of Turkish Cymbals in Istanbul, where handmade B20 bronze cymbals have been crafted for more than 25 years. The bronze – 80% copper, 20% tin – is cast by hand, heated in traditional furnaces and hammered by experienced master craftsmen, stroke by stroke. After that, every cymbal is lathed all over, bell and edge included, and given a Traditional finish. Because casting and hammering are done by hand, each one sounds just a little different. Wieder mal ein Volltreffer! Die Hi Hat reagiert sehr schnell und lebendig und der Chick ist gut akzentuiert. Crashes mit tollem Glanz und sehr organischem Ausklang. Und das Ride ist für mich eine echte Überraschung, Sehr klarer Ping mit einem phantasichen Sustain und vor allem genug Körper. Auch gut für leichte Crashes. Das ganze Set bringt Glanz in der Mix, in diesem Falle Rockmusik, es agiert mit Sensibilität und hoher Dynamik. Bülent hat wieder einmal mit exzellentem Spürsinn das richtige Set empfohlen. Eine interessante Mischung aus Splash und Mini Flat Ride. Eine Bereicherung für mein Set Up.
Die Cymbals sind große Klasse, auch die Effekt -Cymbals und Bells verschiedener Serien harmonieren miteinander. Bülent nimmt sich jedesmal alle Zeit der Welt, wenn es darum geht, die passenden Cymbals zusammenzustellen. Super finde ich, dass man auf der Website schon mal probehören kann, sehr hilfreich bei der Vorauswahl. Preis und Leistung stimmen, immer wieder gerne!
Wahrscheinlich meine beste Erfahrung von Beckenkäufen überhaupt! Ich hab in meiner Laufbahn als Schlagzeuger schon einige Becken gekauft und leider auch immer wieder mal, aus mangelndem Wissen, daneben gegriffen. Good dark, complex crash
Really dark, loud hihats, works good as secondary hats for blastbeats when set not too washy.
Sehr schönes Crash-Imitat bei mit Rods gespielten Unplugged-Gigs. Bei lauteren Musikstilen markantes, kurzes Splash, muß aber hier auch hart angespielt werden, um sich durchzusetzen.
Ich habe zum zweiten Mal Becken bestellt ohne sie vorher testen und ich bin auch dieses Mal wieder begeistert. Mein Vertrauen ist nicht enttäuscht worden. Sehr empfehlenswert!
Das Snake Ride hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen: es sieht nicht nur fantastisch aus, es klingt auch so! Der Sizzle Effekt ist perfekt dosiert. Das Spielgefühl ist äußerst angenehm. Es harmoniert entsprechend gut mit meinen Snake Hats. Ich bin total begeistert!
