The Soundscape series, designed by Jarrod Cagwin, was developed specifically for drummers and hand percussionists seeking expressive sound landscapes. Every cymbal in this series can be played with sticks, mallets, brushes or simply with the hands, opening up an exceptionally broad sonic spectrum. Named after natural elements such as wind, water, reptile sounds, climate zones or astronomical phenomena, each cymbal is made by hand in Istanbul from premium B20 bronze.
Highly dynamic, organic sound
All models are highly dynamic and extremely sensitive, with a predominantly raw, unlathed surface that delivers a dry, organic character. This makes them ideal for acoustic performances and close-mic studio work, opening up intimate, dramatic sound worlds. Anyone seeking similarly raw, texture-rich effect and percussion cymbals will also find them in the Travel and Clatter series.

The series includes dry Crashes (Atacama Arid and Water), percussive Rides (Snake Ride with rivets and Atacama Precision Flat Ride), bright Splashes (Gamma and Löss), a dark China (Karaburan), a versatile Bell (Satellite Flat Bell) and Hi-Hats (Snake with a sizzle effect and Toprak Mini). This lets you build a complete, creative sound palette from a single series.

Die Hi-Hats klingen wirklich sensationell gut, ich bin total begeistert.
Einen Stern Abzug gibt es wegen der unprofessionellen und unzureichenden Verpackung. Die Becken wurden ohne Polsterung einfach nur lieblos in einer Plastiktüte in einem viel zu großen Karton verschickt. Da beide Becken Sizzles haben, kamen die Becken entsprechend verkratzt an. So etwas darf einem Händler nicht passieren.

Aber zur Verpackung: Du hast absolut recht, und wir möchten uns dafür aufrichtig entschuldigen. Die Becken erreichen uns aus der Türkei leider oft in genau dieser Art verpackt, und wir haben sie in diesem Fall so weiterverschickt, wie sie bei uns ankamen. Das war ein Fehler, der uns nicht passieren darf – gerade bei Becken mit Sizzles ist eine ordentliche Polsterung absolut notwendig.
Wir werden künftig deutlich mehr Sorgfalt auf die Verpackung legen und sicherstellen, dass so etwas nicht noch einmal vorkommt.
